Also, they offer every option you will ever need for your hosting, like application installers as Softaculous, and support for a lot of databases and script languages. Unlimited monthly bandwith and unlimited space, for a very cheap price; and 24 hours support. It is the best thing. It’s only a win win option. I used to be with godaddy, and after meeting arvixe, I can say that godaddy is the worst thing, arvixe is the best.

this hosting service is terrible. it worked good for 1 month or so, but daily we have DNS problems, no website, no email. we are writing them daily to make it work. they solved it only for the first time and right now they are not even replying. 5 days ago they said ~Server XXXX is little loaded and that probably caused the DNS issue. If you want , we can migrate your account to any other server.~ i said yes, and… nothing happened. We’ll move to another hosting service, too bad we paid in advance.

NEVER AGAIN WILL WE INVEST ANOTHER $1 INTO ARVIXE. Be prepared to have your site lag immediately and go down for days. Want support, forget it. 30 minutes on hold a 3 am in the morning. Their QA department is a complete joke – they stick their heads up you know where and pretend nothings wrong. You send them print screens and reports and they deny and make excuses left and right. 3 am in the morning we presss a button and it takes 3 to 6 seconds for the site to respond. We started moving over to a hosting company that costs $1 a month and never had an outage in 60 days. With these people its every single day, 5 to 8 times a day. We placed a monitoring tool on the site to report the immediate outage, and this is what you’d going to get yourself into if you sign up with arvixe.

Each line is an outage. As you can clearly see, way in the morning the servers are out? reason because they get hacked all the time and they are always under attack from 1/2 across the world. Their support are a bunch of indians that cant understand one word of english. Do yourselves a favor stay clear away from these people. We’re totally serious people!

I am using Arvixe and I have found their hosting plans cheap, set up straightforward and when I needed support they were there via the chat dialogue box. The only downside is I wish i had set up on business class to begin with and not now contemplating upgrading, but this is really my fault.

I have been with Arvixe for 7 Years now, been great until this week. Email failures , not responding to Emails, online Chat , or Trouble tickets, 3 Days – No emails on any of our hosted sites after server upgrade, Check their forum – Many members complaining of similar issues.

I have been with Arvixe for 10 years but they’ve gone from hero to zero with me in the last two weeks. I’ve had an open support ticket for nearly two weeks now and collectively spent three hours wait time on a support call and online chat, only to have the call cut off after 90 minutes and the online chat agent telll me that I should email arvixe support because a “senior admin” would have to take care of the issue. I told him that I’ve been emailing support for over a week with no response; he said he would “escalate my issue” but that has not been done. Also, in the last two weeks or so they have taken down their customer discussion boards–probably because of the hate chatter from unhappy customers. I will be leaving Arvixe as soon as I can.

Having 15 years of experience within the web business industry we never used a worse web hosting company than Arvixe, nor got worse support – even from their so called “Quality Assurance” which only sends us further to their invoice-email which in return does not answer.

We have only Business accounts at Arvixe which cost a lot more than normal accounts and you would expect better service. Here are a few of the problems we had during the last months at Arvixe:

LINUX: Critical security issues with the Cpanel which made one of our web sites hacked, with the result that Arvixe closed ALL our web sites without notifying us or giving us a chance to fix the problem. Later on they promised that next time they would handle it better, but exactly same thing happened a week later, and still no fix to the Cpanel security problems up to this date, which makes the Linux account 100% unusable if you want it safe and not closed every week if you have a popular web site. We could find the cpanel hack in the logs but Arvixe only said to keep our WordPress version up to date, which did not have anything to do with the hack as they could easily have seen if they even took a little bit time to look at the log file.

WIN: Email accounts not working receiving/sending email around 20-30% of the time

WIN: Continous MSSQL timeouts

WIN: SSL disappearing without warning, making the web site offline. Arvixe telling us that we only payed for a few months SSL but the receipt say 12 months and after one week of complaints Arvixe return the SSL to us.

WIN/LINUX: Extremely slow web servers after about a month when they have filled up the server with more users, with Arvixe answering “Here all works fine” even though Pingdom shows slow results

WIN: ASP Components being removed without warning, resulting in non working web sites

Many times the chat support can only “accelerate” the issue which means you need to wait 1-2 months to get an answer after reminding them every week, and with the answer usually not fixing the problem. In the end we have 2 Business accounts payed for 2 years which is about 1200 dollars and can not use them.

BIG WARNING FOR THIS COMPANY!
